Tele-Therapy for Adults
John W. Wilson, PsyD
Licensed Psychologist

Welcome To My Virtual Practice
Teletherapy allows us to work together in a way that fits your life. Sessions take place from the comfort and privacy of your home or office, without the stress of commuting or carving out extra time in your day. Research shows that this work can be just as effective as meeting in person.
Through PsyPact, I’m able to offer teletherapy to clients in participating states—currently 42 states—making it easier to access care, wherever you’re located.
Sessions are held through Zoom for Healthcare, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform designed to protect your privacy. Video sessions are simple to use, and if video doesn’t feel right, we can switch to phone sessions after your first visit.
When you're ready to talk, I'm here.

A Little About Me
I’ve been a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice since 2007. My education and clinical training come from Emory University, the Georgia Institute of Technology, the Georgia School of Professional Psychology (all in Atlanta), and Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
I’m a regular guest lecturer at Emory University’s Schools of Medicine and Nursing, a member of both the Georgia and American Psychological Associations, and authorized by the PSYPACT Commission to provide telepsychology in participating states.
I’m also an author. My memoir, Straight to Hell, shares my personal journey through trauma, loss, and identity collapse. I wrote it with the hope of reaching back for others who may be searching for a way forward. Learn more at: https://bit.ly/4f5dyoY.
Outside the therapy room, I value the same things many of my clients are working toward—connection, health, and meaning. I enjoy time with family and friends, staying active, making music, and being outdoors whenever I can.
